Whenever you visit the QS Technologies web site (or any other web
site for that matter), the web server logs some basic information about
the requests it receives from you including: the address where it sent
the page, the page it sent, the type of browser that requested the page
and the time of day when the page was sent. The Internet address in the
log points to the Internet doman the request came from—which might
be something very generic like aol.com or more specific
like healthdepartment.greenville.co.sc.us.
If we put a web form on the site so that you can ask for specific material,
we keep the information you provide on the form.

What We Do with the Information We Collect
- If you ask for information on a web form or in an e-mail, we will
use the information to send you the information you asked for.
- If you give us your name and address on a web form or in an e-mail,
we also may add your name to a list of interested people and send you
direct mail advertising.
- If we see the name of a health organization in the web server logs,
we might send infrequent postal direct mail advertising to your organization.
- We may use web access information to compile statistics about the
pages that are most accessed.
What We Will Not Do with the Information We Collect
- We will not share your information with other companies without permission.
- We will not sell your information.
- We will not send you unsolicited e-mail.
Information on Children
It is not the intent of this web site to collect any information
on children. This web site is targeted at the professional Public Health
and Vital Records community.

The QS Technologies web site does not use cookies or any other
persistent identifiers except in its discussion forums as described following.
QS Technologies Forums
Customers and QS Employees have access to discussion forums at http://forums.qsinc.com.
The forums use cookies to manage logins and forum access. Forum registration
requires the user to disclose identifying information so that the forum
administrator can verify that the user is a customer of QS Technologies
and entitled to forum participation. Users of the forums should consider
any messages they publish there as public information.
